4. Territory Management

Understanding Territory Assignments

Territories define the geographic boundaries within which you earn commissions from product scans.

Territory Parameters:

  • Territory Name: Descriptive identifier (e.g., "Dhaka Central", "Chittagong North")
  • Geographic Coordinates: Latitude/Longitude defining center point
  • Radius: Coverage area in kilometers from center point
  • Product Assignments: Specific products authorized for territory

Territory Performance

Monitor how each territory contributes to your overall performance:

  • Scan Breakdown: View scans per territory
  • Heat Maps: Visual representation of scan density
  • Top Locations: Highest performing areas within territories
  • Growth Tracking: Historical performance trends

Geo-Fencing Protection:

Customer scans outside your territory boundaries will not count toward your commission. This ensures fair distribution among agents and prevents territory overlap issues.

5. Claiming Your Commission

Commission Calculation

Commission Formula

Total Scans × Conversion Rate = Claimable Commission

7. Reference Code System

What are Reference Codes?

Reference codes allow you to track and manage distributors within your territory. Each code links distributor activities to your agent account.

Reference Code Features:

  • Unique Identifiers: Each distributor gets a unique code (e.g., AGT-DH-001)
  • Activity Tracking: Monitor all scans associated with each code
  • Performance Metrics: View individual distributor performance
  • Commission Attribution: All scans linked to reference codes count toward your commission

Managing Reference Codes

  1. Generate Codes: Create new reference codes for distributors
  2. Assign Territories: Link codes to specific territories
  3. Track Usage: Monitor active vs inactive codes
  4. Performance Review: Analyze effectiveness of each distributor
  5. Code Management: Deactivate or reassign codes as needed

Best Practices:

  • Use descriptive naming conventions (territory-based)
  • Regularly review code performance
  • Deactivate unused codes to maintain data clarity
  • Provide clear instructions to distributors on code usage

8. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How often can I claim my commission?

A: You can claim anytime when your claimable amount is greater than 0. There's no minimum threshold unless specified by your organization.

Q: What happens if a scan occurs outside my territory?

A: Scans outside your territory boundaries will not count toward your commission. The system uses geo-fencing to ensure accurate territory attribution.

Q: Can I manage multiple territories?

A: Yes, agents can be assigned multiple territories. Your dashboard will show combined metrics with breakdown by individual territory.

Q: How are duplicate scans handled?

A: Only the first scan of each unique product code counts toward commission. Duplicate scans are logged but don't generate additional commission.

Q: What if I don't receive my OTP?

A: Check spam folders, wait 2-3 minutes for network delays, or use the "Resend OTP" option. Contact technical support if issues persist.

Q: Can I see historical performance data?

A: Yes, the dashboard provides access to historical scan data, claim records, and performance trends for any date range.

Q: How are reference codes assigned to distributors?

A: You generate reference codes through your dashboard and provide them to distributors. The system automatically tracks all scans associated with each code.
